Diego Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. Rui Figueiras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute Diego Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Figueiras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. German Fias scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play forced DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Rui Figueiras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44thth minute of the game German Fias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th match minute, DALO S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Putte von der Putten to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when German Fias made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Putte von der Putten in the 51st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Figueiras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Mancebo in the 58th minute of the match. German Fias might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. German Fias ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Luis Andino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rui Figueiras. That made the score 1-2 after 70 minutes of play. A collision led to DALO S.C. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. León Careaga hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rui Figueiras. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mora Liebana during the 82nd minute. Rui Figueiras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
