Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Claudio Echeverri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 7th minute Claudio Echeverri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Claudio Echeverri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ríver Late fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Baran Sarka's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ríver Late were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Francisco Silveira took the corner. Baran Sarka came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. 19 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Echeverri. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani de Salles having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Echeverri in the 22nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvador Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Salvador Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Baran Sarka:s penalty. Geovani de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute of the match. After 31 minutes, Lorien Blanco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ríver Late and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Lorien Blanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ríver Late's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovani de Salles came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Claudio Echeverri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claudio Echeverri really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Echeverri in the 39th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Echeverri in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute of the match Ríver Late got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. João Francisco Silveira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ríver Late's Rick Haremeijer getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Claudio Echeverri hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Echeverri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Ríver Late's goalkeeper Geovani de Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvério Vargas during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Ríver Late was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvério Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Claudio Echeverri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Ríver Late's Claudio Echeverri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ríver Late were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Francisco Silveira took the corner. A nice corner shot did that João Francisco Silveira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Baran Sarka scored 3-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ríver Late's Dimas Barrientos was substituted for Claudio Echeverri. The supporters of Ríver Late booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Dimas Barrientos made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 80th match minute, Ríver Late was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baran Sarka to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Dimas Barrientos put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ríver Late's goalkeeper Geovani de Salles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Dimas Barrientos came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ríver Late.
