DALO S.C.'s Putte von der Putten got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and German Fias made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Lode Van Hemel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DALO S.C. and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st match minute, DALO S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lode Van Hemel to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored DALO S.C.'s protests and gave German Fias a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when DALO S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Fias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in DALO S.C.'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Figueiras came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when German Fias came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, León Careaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. Putte von der Putten charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Putte von der Putten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ecuador made a substitution. Max Alvarado replaced Antonio Arias. Putte von der Putten hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Urritz Martiniana struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DALO S.C.. The supporters of DALO S.C. booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urritz Martiniana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing DALO S.C. to leave the ground with a draw.
