Adulfo Antunez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AYAZAĞA FK's Vergil Van Dijk managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Antonio Indiano in the 31 minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as AYAZAĞA FK's Berke Gümüşsoy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-1 after 34 minutes of play. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atabek Makbul was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atabek Makbul, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, AYAZAĞA FK's goalkeeper Adulfo Antunez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Atabek Makbul blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save.
