Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Teofilo Maidana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oso Ted was slow to take the kick. During this time Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which David Belasko managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cartero de Agronomia F.C. had won after a very even match.
