Dinu Dabija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 25th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dinu Dabija was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dinu Dabija was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️'s goalkeeper Dinu Dabija, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Dabija having to interfere. Fabrizio Carbonaro kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After 61 played minutes G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️ got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Dobrica. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute of play forced G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️'s goalkeeper Dinu Dabija to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidiu Dobrica kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Dinu Dabija made a huge save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dinu Dabija came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 72nd minute. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Dinu Dabija threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 78th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Cristian Sancho heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 81 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Dinu Dabija was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️ getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Huang Kun Chen hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinu Dabija breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 88 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
