Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Douglas de Souza started the match with the kick off. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Tomé Reis sent off a good shot on target. Remo da Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remo da Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Panama booed when Floresta Club U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute of the match, Gilmar Castro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Cotilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Léo de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Léo de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Léo de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 18 minutes, Alex Cambeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Cambeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Douglas de Souza's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcos Cotilla firmly grabbed it by the left post. Remo da Rocha got his second yellow card in the match during the 23rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 24th minute, Remo da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Gilmar Castro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla, 1-0. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes Floresta Club U18's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Panama's Miguel Miralles getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Panama's Tomas Berganza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Léo de Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute, Floresta Club U18's Eliézer Correia seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eliézer Correia the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Floresta Club U18 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eliézer Correia had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Léo de Brito had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Abraham Alguacil's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 54th minute of the match, Abraham Alguacil got a very nice opportunity to score, but Léo de Brito was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 55th minute of the match Panama got a corner. Floresta Club U18's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. Panama's Abraham Alguacil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Léo de Brito in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Léo de Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. With a little luck, Floresta Club U18's Léo de Brito got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas de Souza in the 65th minute of the match. When Isidoro Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. If Alex Cambeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Cambeiro during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 72 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas de Souza in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Panama's Abraham Alguacil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Léo de Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. After 81 played minutes, Floresta Club U18's Vito Maia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Floresta Club U18 reached it. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Léo de Brito made a huge save. After 89 minutes, Miguel Miralles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Floresta Club U18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute Endrik Edmundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes of play Panama's Miguel Miralles was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 94th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Floresta Club U18's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
