Mauricio Precioso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 3rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Puerto Quito's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Precioso came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Diego Narbona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauricio Precioso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 11th minute of play. Mauricio Precioso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's Rufino Giron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rufino Giron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 40th minute of play forced Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Mauricio Precioso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If 董洲晨 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Luca Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mauricio Precioso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Club Puerto Quito's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Precioso came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Mauricio Precioso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Mauricio Precioso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 70th minute of play forced Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Mauricio Precioso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Mauricio Precioso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Club Puerto Quito's Rufino Giron nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Lorenzo Cazalla came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Cazalla couldn't finish the play. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mauricio Precioso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
