Ionică Corcoveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of the match. Edgar Witek got a throw-in 13 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Filip Pantiș. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Pantiș in the 17th minute of play. Flavius Stanciu hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Luz Tejedor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ionică Corcoveanu skillfully saved the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ionică Corcoveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionică Corcoveanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th match minute, Eintracht Cernavoda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Walter to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ionică Corcoveanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yin Li Ying in the 36th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ionică Corcoveanu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionică Corcoveanu. Ionică Corcoveanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 45th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ionică Corcoveanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Pantiș in the 50th minute of play. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ionică Corcoveanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Corcoveanu having to interfere. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yin Li Ying went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yin Li Ying in the 64th minute of play. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Ionică Corcoveanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yin Li Ying in the 77th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yin Li Ying in the 83rd minute of play. Ionică Corcoveanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edgar Witek in the 90 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Eintracht Cernavoda's Philip Walter got a free kick in the 91st minute. Edgar Witek hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Ionică Corcoveanu made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Rafael Gallo sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Eintracht Cernavoda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseo Mina ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Peru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
