Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionică Corcoveanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Abram Sarmiento put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ionică Corcoveanu. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Ionică Corcoveanu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
