Comunardo Prandini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 8th minute of the match. Comunardo Prandini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gus Weir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Comunardo Prandini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 42nd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Prandini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Chelsea's Jonathon Theobold was substituted for Tony Domingues. In the 80th minute, one of Real Chelsea:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Chelsea. 82 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Comunardo Prandini. Real Chelsea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Real Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Comunardo Prandini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico played a much better game than Real Chelsea and deserved their victory. The Real Chelsea players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
