Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Fryderyk Jajecznica started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Procopio Trespalacios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 3rd minute of play. Procopio Trespalacios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iwan Ostrowski who took care of the corner kick. Spartans Lodz's Procopio Trespalacios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Spartans Lodz getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Herbert Gozdowski hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Procopio Trespalacios quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play forced Spartans Lodz's goalkeeper Procopio Trespalacios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Procopio Trespalacios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute Fryderyk Jajecznica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Procopio Trespalacios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Procopio Trespalacios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 39 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fryderyk Jajecznica in the 43rd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Procopio Trespalacios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Spartans Lodz's goalie prevented a goal. After 46 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Iwan Ostrowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 49th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 56 played minutes Spartans Lodz got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Gozdowski. 60 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Procopio Trespalacios, 0-1. The supporters of Spartans Lodz booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spartans Lodz's Zula Zworski was substituted for Fryderyk Jajecznica. If Zula Zworski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Zula Zworski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Spartans Lodz's Procopio Trespalacios got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Procopio Trespalacios was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 75 minute of play. After 82 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Procopio Trespalacios was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Procopio Trespalacios read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Spartans Lodz's goalkeeper Procopio Trespalacios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. After a defensive mix-up in Spartans Lodz's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Procopio Trespalacios came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Spartans Lodz fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
