Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ioseba Gonzalvez in the 2nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 4th minute of play forced 20 de Março FC's goalkeeper Renan Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th play minute Ioseba Gonzalvez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 1-0. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Renan Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renan Schmidt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renan Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in 20 de Março FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Ioseba Gonzalvez managed to get in a good position for a shot. 20 de Março FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ioseba Gonzalvez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Waldemar Frænkel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Absalon Berritsgård made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 42nd match minute, 20 de Março FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Velasco to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waldemar Frænkel was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to 20 de Março FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alfredo Nóbrega hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Pãduret in the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, 20 de Março FC's Renan Schmidt got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute Absalon Berritsgård shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Frænkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, 20 de Março FC's goalkeeper Renan Schmidt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 69th minute, Marcel Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Absalon Berritsgård had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Absalon Berritsgård made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Renan Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Renan Schmidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. 95 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Frænkel came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 de Março FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
