Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Axelsson in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Călin Prunaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gavril Mangra, made in the 15th minute of the game. After 15 minutes, Gavril Mangra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC MCM and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Gavril Mangra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Joaquin Prats hit a great ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC MCM's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC MCM's goalie and right to Moises Gayoso. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC MCM's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Călin Prunaru saved FC MCM from getting behind. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Călin Prunaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Prunaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cătălin Agulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Călin Prunaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Viktor Axelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Gavril Mangra made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. Gavril Mangra made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Călin Prunaru was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Julian Murillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Murillo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Axelsson in the 62nd minute of play. Călin Prunaru made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Călin Prunaru managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A sloppy throw-in by Gavril Mangra in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. FC MCM's Călin Prunaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save FC MCM from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, Adrian Isbășoiu made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Adrian Isbășoiu charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Isbășoiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC MCM's Adrian Isbășoiu got a free kick in the 77th minute. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Gavril Mangra made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. Călin Prunaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 80th minute of play. Eliseo Mina took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Călin Prunaru. Călin Prunaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eliseo Mina in the 86th minute. Călin Prunaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 91st minute of the match. Călin Prunaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute of play. The FC MCM fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
