In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind INTERNAZIONALE DE MILAN's goalkeeper Claude Lucien, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Gabriel Lleir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Sebastian Villa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 28th minute of play forced INTERNAZIONALE DE MILAN's goalkeeper Claude Lucien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Lucien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruperto Garcia. 46 minutes into the game, Aquilino Efraim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Aquilino Efraim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquilino Efraim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Saturnino Jusepe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Selmo in the 59th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claude Lucien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, INTERNAZIONALE DE MILAN's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Claude Lucien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Aquilino Efraim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTERNAZIONALE DE MILAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Efraim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. INTERNAZIONALE DE MILAN's Claude Lucien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 69th minute of play. When INTERNAZIONALE DE MILAN's Aquilino Efraim in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Selmo in the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Valentín Carvallo hit a great ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Gabriel Lleir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTERNAZIONALE DE MILAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Lleir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Selmo in the 91st minute of play. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Efraim in the 94th minute of the match. Edmundo Espiga came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Claude Lucien could save by the left post. The INTERNAZIONALE DE MILAN supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Honduras's performance. The match ended with a win for Honduras.
