Prospero Muc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Rameriz was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Tiburcio Domiku hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Prospero Muc, 0-6. Prospero Muc made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Prospero Muc. That made the score 0-7 in the 63 minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Muc having to interfere. Prospero Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, Maravilla's Prospero Muc got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Prospero Muc to make any attempt to save it. After 85 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Domiku. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Muc having to interfere. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nemesio Damario got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 97 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Damario. In the 99th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
