Florentino Guillen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Florentino Guillen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcelo Delgado was slow to take the kick. During this time MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's players had a chance to rest. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Joaquin Gayoso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's Marcelo Delgado got a free kick in the 21st minute. A hard shot 25 in the game by Chan Clet from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Gayoso managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay's players were relieved. Chan Clet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 33rd minute of play forced MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's goalkeeper Florentino Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Chan Clet advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 38th minute. If Chan Clet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chan Clet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chan Clet made a kick off. After a rather tough play, MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's Fernando Carballeira got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Florentino Guillen but with some difficulty. A collision led to MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22 getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Melchor Silbestre hit a great ball. Arturo Carvallo made in the 61st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jaime Cazalla however managed to control. After having played for 62 minutes, Chan Clet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chan Clet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Florentino Guillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chan Clet in the 70th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chan Clet in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcelo Delgado in the 84th minute. A nice corner shot did that Marcelo Delgado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chan Clet in the 87th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chan Clet went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Chan Clet came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's Chan Clet got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
