C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 27 played minutes C Ａ R D I N Ａ L got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Paraschivescu. In the 31st minute, Maximiliano Escribano made a precise shot to the right of Șerban Finteșteanu. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Șerban Finteșteanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save C Ａ R D I N Ａ L from getting a goal against them. Șerban Finteșteanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. A sloppy throw-in by Jorge Sainz in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Eugen Popeneciu. In the 84th minute, Francisco Seco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Șerban Finteșteanu. The goal made the score 0-11. A throw-in in the 88th minute of the game was made by Jorge Sainz with Camilo Franco as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Francisco Seco took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Șerban Finteșteanu. Șerban Finteșteanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Șerban Finteșteanu made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Șerban Finteșteanu. Șerban Finteșteanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
