Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luiz Leo kicked off to start the match. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Canarinho Atordoado's Peter Mpenza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 3rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Mpenza in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Luiz Leo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canarinho Atordoado's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Leo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Márcio Seabra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Mpenza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márcio Seabra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Luiz Leo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Márcio Seabra in the 16th minute. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Peter Mpenza was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Canarinho Atordoado's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luiz Leo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 20 minutes of play, Canarinho Atordoado's Luiz Leo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Canarinho Atordoado's Luiz Leo. But to his dismay, Luiz Leo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Luiz Leo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Leo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Canarinho Atordoado's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Peter Mpenza in the 33rd minute. Márcio Seabra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Leo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Mpenza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Peter Mpenza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Peter Mpenza sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Mpenza in the 71st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Mpenza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77thth minute of the game Luiz Leo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Canarinho Atordoado fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Canarinho Atordoado's Luiz Leo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luiz Leo struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canarinho Atordoado. After a rather tough play, Canarinho Atordoado's Lino Mota got a free kick in the 80th minute. Luiz Leo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Teodoro Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Peter Mpenza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Canarinho Atordoado's Peter Mpenza in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Canarinho Atordoado's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
