Daniel Nóbrega was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Daniel Nóbrega was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 14 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Lupere FC - DMZ's Daniel Nóbrega. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Nóbrega having to interfere. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdo Mazza went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Madureira in the 54th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-9. Daniel Nóbrega was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Nóbrega. Lupere FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-10. After 69 played minutes Lupere FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Ortiz. Luis Andino might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Nóbrega. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Andino ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Nóbrega didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-11 was the resulting score. After 78 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Nóbrega came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. In the 82nd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Nóbrega was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-12. Daniel Nóbrega was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-13 in the 85 minute of play. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
