Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Haroldo Lorien started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 10 played minutes, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Salvador Salomon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alvarado de Mar del Plata reached it. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Rolando Hodei got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Lorien in the 16th minute of play. Kang Feng was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Haroldo Lorien took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Kang Feng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvarado de Mar del Plata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A collision led to Alvarado de Mar del Plata getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Enzo Kante hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Mincho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Lorien came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvarado de Mar del Plata made a substitution. Mariano Verón replaced Enzo Kante. Venezuela's attentive Salvador Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Rolando Hodei made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. 65 minutes into the game, Haroldo Lorien cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Haroldo Lorien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Alvarado de Mar del Plata made a substitution. Modesto Isadore replaced Rolando Hodei. Kang Feng struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvarado de Mar del Plata. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Haroldo Lorien took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 83rd minute, Haroldo Lorien ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kang Feng in the 86th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Lorien in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Salvador Salomon was slow to take the kick. During this time Alvarado de Mar del Plata's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Alvarado de Mar del Plata getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Modesto Isadore hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Lorien in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Haroldo Lorien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
