Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Severino Alves made the kick off and thus started the match. 7 minutes into the game, Valdomiro Seco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FENIX FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. Valdomiro Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Abraham Alguacil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommie van Asseldonk skillfully saved the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Severino Alves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FENIX FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. In the 10th minute, Severino Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes FENIX FC got a freekick which was hit by Vito Bertassi. 18 minutes into the game, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommie van Asseldonk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Aloísio Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 34 played minutes FENIX FC got a freekick which was hit by Vito Bertassi. After 35 played minutes FENIX FC got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Donatello. In the 35th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie van Asseldonk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dráusio Madureira fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FENIX FC's protests and gave Dráusio Madureira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Felipe Ros hit a great ball. Dráusio Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FENIX FC booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FENIX FC's Gildo Donatello got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 46 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommie van Asseldonk was left in no man's land by his defense there! The FENIX FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 1-2.

Dráusio Madureira took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 59th minute Severino Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FENIX FC's Gildo Donatello got a free kick in the 61st minute. Aloísio Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Aloísio Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommie van Asseldonk had in the 71stth minute some difficulties stopping Abraham Alguacil's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Tommie van Asseldonk in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, FENIX FC's goalkeeper Tommie van Asseldonk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento. Severino Alves hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Tommie van Asseldonk made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of FENIX FC's Tommie van Asseldonk. Tommie van Asseldonk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 97th minute of the match Vito Bertassi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vito Bertassi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Vito Bertassi hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Abraham Alguacil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 99th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommie van Asseldonk. FENIX FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match was over Panama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FENIX FC throughout the match.
