Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 5 minutes, Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esteco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo saved Esteco from getting behind. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play forced Esteco's goalkeeper Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Samuel Claude hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Montenegro in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Zbyszko Szpakowski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Esteco's Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 36th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 50th minute, Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 72nd minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 73rd minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo made a huge save. In the 80th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Lorenzo Boni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esteco's goalkeeper Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo having to interfere. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th match minute, Esteco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Perfumo to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
