Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 34th minute of the match. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. After 43 minutes, Ramos Delgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esteco and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ramos Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Facundo Cadaval left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso was the one to do the kick off. Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 72 minutes into the match, Esteco's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Felix Luque. But to his dismay, Felix Luque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Esteco's Jiří Petera was substituted for Samuel Claude. 81 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszko Szpakowski came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 89 minutes on the clock, Luca Rouco commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 88 minutes into the game, one of Mexico:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 97 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. Mexico played a much better game than Esteco and deserved their victory. The Esteco players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
