Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Herminio Otsando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cridas FC's Zacarias Elija got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 11th minute of play forced Cridas FC's goalkeeper Herminio Otsando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sánchez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Cridas FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 24th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Hori came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sánchez in the 40th minute of play. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Ermegildo Olivar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristo Daunte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sánchez in the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucio Hori to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sánchez in the 51st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Hori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Herminio Otsando managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 67th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Hori came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a Cridas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualterio Libertad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Cristian Sánchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Cridas FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
