But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After 82 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zbigniew Chazen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Zbigniew Chazen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 90th minute of play forced Concordia Knurów's goalkeeper Zbigniew Chazen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Concordia Knurów fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
