Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Lev Yashin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lev Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matxin Maliaño. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Matxin Maliaño tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerardo Pozo's late challenge caught a Conjunto Paisa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Pozo helped the player get up and apologised. 21 minutes into the game, one of Chile:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Chile:s Thiago Pliego showed great skill when he stopped Tomás Angel:s penalty. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lev Yashin was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After 29 minutes, Guillermo Fontirroig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chile and the Conjunto Paisa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guillermo Fontirroig hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute of the match, Harriet Basabe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thiago Pliego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With his leg Thiago Pliego managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Conjunto Paisa's Matxin Maliaño fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 35th minute of the match Conjunto Paisa got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wei Yu Zheng ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Wei Yu Zheng almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chile's Thiago Pliego did a great save. Wei Yu Zheng hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Guillermo Fontirroig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lev Yashin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lev Yashin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matxin Maliaño in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 57th minute of play forced Conjunto Paisa's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lev Yashin made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matxin Maliaño in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Matxin Maliaño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. Matxin Maliaño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lev Yashin. Lev Yashin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Lev Yashin made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Lev Yashin in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Mariano Lacasa could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Lev Yashin however easily saved by the left post. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Figueroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conjunto Paisa were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chile for a fine match.
