Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Conjunto Paisa's Matxin Maliaño started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Harriet Basabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conjunto Paisa's Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Conjunto Paisa's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lev Yashin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Harriet Basabe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Harriet Basabe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 37th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. With a little luck, Conjunto Paisa's Lev Yashin got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harriet Basabe scored 3-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harriet Basabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lev Yashin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lev Yashin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Conjunto Paisa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Angel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Conjunto Paisa's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Lev Yashin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Daniel Zorita kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 70thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Conjunto Paisa's keeper Lev Yashin was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 played minutes Conjunto Paisa got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Hotz. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harriet Basabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Conjunto Paisa getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Tomás Angel hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Harriet Basabe came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Harriet Basabe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute, Tomás Angel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Conjunto Paisa were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
