Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Baltasar Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 3rd minute of play. Baltasar Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 23rd minute of play forced Roja Directa's goalkeeper Baltasar Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Baltasar Lastur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltasar Lastur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Mancebo's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Rogelio Aimar notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Roja Directa's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Baltasar Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Roja Directa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Tono to maneuver through the defense.

Roja Directa's Baltasar Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Roja Directa from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Baltasar Lastur came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Mexico's Facundo Cadaval stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Baltasar Lastur stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Roja Directa of the goal. After 75 minutes Roja Directa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Luca Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Baltasar Lastur quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Roja Directa getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Arturo Loramendi hit a great ball. Baltasar Lastur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 86th minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. In the 89th minute, Macos Graciani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Cutberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Lastur having to interfere. Slavomil Hosnedl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. Jeremias Amaya kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 98th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Roja Directa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 99th match minute, Roja Directa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slavomil Hosnedl to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Joel Gaona from long distance, 99 minutes into the match, got Baltasar Lastur's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Roja Directa throughout the match.
