Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dacian Fetea kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 2nd minute of play forced BlueLionesse's goalkeeper Cătălin Jdeica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cătălin Jdeica came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 9 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BlueLionesse's Cătălin Jdeica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BlueLionesse's Cătălin Jdeica did a great save. Cătălin Jdeica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. The supporters of Ecuador booed when BlueLionesse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Greblă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristinel Gheorghiță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind BlueLionesse's goalkeeper Cătălin Jdeica, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. BlueLionesse's Cătălin Jdeica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save BlueLionesse from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
