When Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo, in the 13th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. After 15 minutes of play, bicho colorado's Celedonio Omero made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Adan Rafel. bicho colorado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Adan Rafel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Lautaro Mancebo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Adan Rafel when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
