Sheep United's Damiano Melfi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 17th minute of play. Damiano Melfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute of play. When José Antonio Parra came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sheep United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Antonio Parra couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Damiano Melfi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 47 minutes, Facundo Cadaval mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Sheep United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Isidoro Thomas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 49th minute Sheep United were awarded a corner. José Antonio Parra went to the cornerflag to take it. Gerrie Bot made a great header on Sheep United's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 53rd minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Sheldon Cooper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sheldon Cooper in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Sheldon Cooper came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
