The audience thought a goal was coming when Lionel-Andrés Messias got free with Julio Vera in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 15 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Conrado Rodriguez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Bernhardt Reshauge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Conrado Rodriguez sent off a good shot on target. Bernhardt Reshauge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of the match. Conrado Rodriguez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

When Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Conrado Rodriguez in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Bernhardt Reshauge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Sαηgrε Azuɭ from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Rodriguez came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel-Andrés Messias in the 69th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Rodriguez in the 72nd minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Messias in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Lionel-Andrés Messias came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Lionel-Andrés Messias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Conrado Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ur Cabral in the 89th minute of play. Jonas Ordono made a great header on Sαηgrε Azuɭ's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Benicio Tabby's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Tabby helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Sαηgrε Azuɭ got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Tabby. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sαηgrε Azuɭ support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
