Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Seco made the kick off and thus started the match. 9 minutes into the match, AC Guadalajara's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Juan Cazorla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. Camilo Franco hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. A collision led to AC Guadalajara getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Lawrence Starling hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes AC Guadalajara got a freekick which was hit by Normando Palencia. In the 15th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Cazorla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes in the game, Fidel Gomez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, AC Guadalajara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawrence Starling to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Laffitte Sanes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Fidel Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Fidel Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes in the game Gottfrid Duset did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Laffitte Sanes. 34 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Normando Palencia. 35 minutes into the match, AC Guadalajara's Laffitte Sanes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Gomez, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Francisco Seco hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match, Laffitte Sanes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joaquin Gayoso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Laffitte Sanes kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Uruguay's keeper Joaquin Gayoso was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 47th minute, Laffitte Sanes made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laffitte Sanes was the one to do the kick off. Uruguay's Francisco Seco came free and shot a quick shot against goal 53 minutes in the game, fortunately Juan Cazorla had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Francisco Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Cazorla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the match, AC Guadalajara's goalkeeper Juan Cazorla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. In the 57th minute, Jaime Cazalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Cazorla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 61st minute, Maximiliano Escribano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Juan Cazorla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 65th minute of play. Juan Cazorla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Juan Cazorla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Uruguay's attentive Jaime Cazalla managed to snatch the ball when Lawrence Starling made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. AC Guadalajara's Jesús Abellan was substituted for Anacleto Pais. AC Guadalajara made a substitution. Bladimir Putin replaced Kaiet Checa. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jaakoppi Fahlgren in the 84 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in AC Guadalajara's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Cazorla came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jaime Cazalla hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Normando Palencia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Cazorla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. AC Guadalajara's Juan Cazorla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save AC Guadalajara from getting a goal against them. After having played for 96 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Escribano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Uruguay walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
