Elder Tale
Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Teofil Marud made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute Elvio Aznar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Log Horizon getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Godfredo Terciero hit a great ball. Hugon Marut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 minutes Log Horizon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Mervin Corley's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Unax in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofil Marud in the 15th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugon Marut came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Teofil Marud came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Log Horizon defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugon Marut. The Log Horizon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugon Marut should have stopped the shot. In the 26th match minute, Log Horizon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by González Texidor to maneuver through the defense. Hugon Marut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Teofil Marud came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Log Horizon's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Hugon Marut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Aznar in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Mervin Corley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 1-2. In the 35th minute, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lorenzo Cazalla the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mexico protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lorenzo Cazalla had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 34 minutes into the game, one of Mexico:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 39th minute, Log Horizon's Teofil Marud ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. The supporters of Log Horizon booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugon Marut having to interfere. If Teofil Marud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lautaro Mancebo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hugon Marut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Hugon Marut made a huge save. Elvio Aznar hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Log Horizon's Godfredo Terciero got a free kick in the 61st minute. Log Horizon's Ciro Hodei was substituted for Godfredo Terciero. Log Horizon's Amancio Evangelista was substituted for Teofil Marud. A collision led to Log Horizon getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Godfredo Terciero hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mervin Corley in the 69th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mervin Corley, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Log Horizon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Silvano Unax in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Log Horizon's Ceferino Rocendo got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when Log Horizon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Abascal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugon Marut having to make a save. In the 86th match minute, Log Horizon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Ziombkowski to maneuver through the defense. Hugon Marut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 87th minute of the match. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Ceferino Rocendo hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugon Marut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Log Horizon players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
