Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Arsenal FC's Damaso Orlin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 minutes of play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Songur Yoran was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arsenal FC's Songur Yoran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Matthias Löfgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 15th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Songur Yoran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Orlin in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Damaso Orlin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 26th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Gisbert during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Salvador Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. The audience was convinced that Damaso Orlin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Damaso Orlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Löfgren in the 37th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Arsenal FC's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Damaso Orlin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Damaso Orlins short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 41 minutes in the game Guillermo Mariano did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tomas Illescas. In the 43rd minute of the match Camilo Gaos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Songur Yoran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Songur Yoran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 45th minute of play. The Arsenal FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Songur Yoran to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Songur Yoran made a huge save. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Orlin in the 78th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Songur Yoran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chants of Venezuela echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Arsenal FC had held the ball for most of the match.
