The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bence Rakaczki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Monte Cortazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Monte Cortazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute Monte Cortazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Monte Cortazar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Monte Cortazar in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Monte Cortazar got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bence Rakaczki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bence Rakaczki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 minutes of play, ☆冰谷☆Sunrise's Monte Cortazar made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Bence Rakaczki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Monte Cortazar to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monte Cortazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 孟凌光 in the 58th minute of play. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 孟凌光 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bence Rakaczki made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Monte Cortazar took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ☆冰谷☆Sunrise fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
