With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pál Polyák in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmy Olsson saved Linköpings AIK from getting behind. After 21 minutes Linköpings AIK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabio Onbera who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Fabio Onbera got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jimmy Olsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pál Polyák in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmy Olsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jimmy Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Campelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Linköpings AIK booed when SITIO CITY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Campelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pál Polyák got free with Jimmy Olsson in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, SITIO CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Julien Staffelbach came free, but Cristiano Lage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pál Polyák recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in SITIO CITY fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pál Polyák to strike the kick off in the second half. Folke Abrahamsson's late challenge caught a SITIO CITY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Folke Abrahamsson helped the player get up and apologised. SITIO CITY's Carlos Garcia was substituted for Pál Polyák. In the 53rd minute, one of Linköpings AIK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Linköpings AIK. The referee gave SITIO CITY a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlos Garcia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson. 2-1. Jimmy Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Garcia in the 58th minute of play. When Arvid Carlsson came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Linköpings AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arvid Carlsson couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Garcia came free, but Jimmy Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SITIO CITY's Carlos Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, SITIO CITY's Carlos Garcia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimmy Olsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Albin Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pawel Czubski hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. With a little luck, SITIO CITY's Cristiano Lage got control of the ball when Albin Nilsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jimmy Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Garcia in the 80th minute of play. The SITIO CITY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Linköpings AIK made a substitution. Marbjörn Garpsson replaced Stefan Blomqvist. Fabio Onbera went to the cornerflag to take it. Many of Linköpings AIK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Linköpings AIK may have spent more time on the ball, but SITIO CITY were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
