After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Hasan Rumangkit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lucky Star's supporters rose to their feet, but Hasan Rumangkit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Iqbal during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Iqbal kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otong Pink in the 38th minute of the match. Silas Caro scored 2-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silas Caros short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silas Caro in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Silas Caro made the kick off in the second half. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 56th minute of the game, Jonathan Iqbal landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas Caro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otong Yulianto, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Patricio Costa got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
