Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abram Sarmiento got the match started through his kick off. After 4 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ragıp Işık who took care of the corner kick. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Santino Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nuno do Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Guararapes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno do Nascimento couldn't finish the play. When Guararapes's Nuno do Nascimento in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Bermudo came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Guararapes's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Romeu Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Guararapes's zone, Abram Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeu Guedes came out of the goal and Abram Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the game, Carter Monticelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guararapes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. In the 40th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Ragıp Işık came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Jacinto de Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guararapes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vinicio Bermudo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Bermudo in the 50th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dida Pena came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Guararapes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dida Pena couldn't finish the play. After having played for 54 minutes, Dida Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guararapes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dida Pena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dida Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ragıp Işık took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Romeu Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Romeu Guedes made a huge save. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guararapes's goalkeeper Romeu Guedes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Guararapes's Dida Pena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Guararapes made a substitution. José Pedro Cardozo replaced Nuno do Nascimento. Guararapes made a substitution. Cristian Cordoba replaced Vinicio Bermudo. Tenorio Urrue scored 3-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Guararapes fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
