Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar de Moraes in the 7th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdemar de Moraes in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Honduras's attentive Esteban Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Vítor Sampaio made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Telmo Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ismael Nazario Serre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vítor Sampaio in the 19 minute of the game. The supporters of Papunhas EC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Valdemar de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Papunhas EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdemar de Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 24th minute. Sebastian Villa made a great header on Honduras's corner, it was just that Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Christian Baiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Fabrício Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Nazario Serre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. A collision led to Papunhas EC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Telmo Peres hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Papunhas EC's Christian Baiano. But to his dismay, Christian Baiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdemar de Moraes made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Christian Baiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Baiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 61st minute, Agostinho de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 played minutes, Honduras's Luca Espinar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ismael Nazario Serre came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. Telmo Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Nazario Serre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Nazario Serre in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Nazario Serre was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Pinho was slow to take the kick. During this time Papunhas EC's players had a chance to rest. Marcel Pinho made a great header on Papunhas EC's corner, it was just that Honduras's Lautaro Navarro managed to reach the ball for a save. Papunhas EC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
