But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cassius Byrne couldn't finish the play. SITIO CITY's Cristiano Lage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 11th minute of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind SITIO CITY's goalkeeper Cristiano Lage, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute Pál Polyák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SITIO CITY's Cristiano Lage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 28th minute of play. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Thanks to some nice moves Cassius Byrne could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Cristiano Lage however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Cristiano Lage in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristiano Lage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. 64 minutes into the match, SITIO CITY's goalkeeper Cristiano Lage had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Mcdonald. The supporters of SITIO CITY booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob May didn't get a good kick on the ball. SITIO CITY made a substitution. Carlos Garcia replaced Pál Polyák. SITIO CITY made a substitution. Pierre-Paul Swin replaced Chiquinho Pereira. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Erik Bryngelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SITIO CITY's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabio Onbera in the 86th minute. After taking down the ball on SITIO CITY's corner Fabio Onbera fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Carlos Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. SITIO CITY's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to SITIO CITY getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Alessandro Valente hit a great ball. Cristiano Lage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
