Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albert Rutledge started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes LA VIOLA got a freekick which was hit by Albert Rutledge. Felix Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Martinsson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Mihăiţă Cârstoiu got a free kick in the 9th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Rutledge in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute LA VIOLA were awarded a corner. Sune Dahlberg went to the cornerflag to take it. LA VIOLA's Felix Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Mihăiţă Cârstoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Martinsson skillfully saved the ball. Isak Ahlbeck kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Felix Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of LA VIOLA's Felix Martinsson. Felix Martinsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Rutledge in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by LA VIOLA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After 42 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Rutledge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LA VIOLA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sune Dahlberg in the 45th minute. Jens-Ove Abrahamsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 55th minute, Agustín Saelices reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Felix Martinsson. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 59th minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Martinsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Albert Rutledge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrik Wickander's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrik Wickander helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Henrik Wickander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Felix Martinsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihăiţă Cârstoiu during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, LA VIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Cârstoiu to maneuver through the defense. After 71 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Martinsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvald Uter in the 86th minute of the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LA VIOLA.
