After 27 played minutes, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hudson de Carvalho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Venezuela reached it. In the 29th minute Sebastian Ekelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match MZetowe Mastodonty got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zebastian Carlsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Feng Ling Di almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Ekelund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, MZetowe Mastodonty's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Hudson de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Ekelund was the one to do the kick off. Aureliusz Snaza charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aureliusz Snaza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, MZetowe Mastodonty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliusz Snaza to maneuver through the defense.
