Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 14 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Indiano. Niklas Lundqvist took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niklas Lundqvist got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Basso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Marcos Basso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th match minute, The Shadows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joacim Nordin to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Basso saved The Shadows from getting behind. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herbert Holmgren went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
