Augusto Benitez took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Buffalo Timişoara's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hunor Csapó in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With 16 minutes on the clock, Luca Rouco commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mexico! Mexico:s Dante Lacasa showed great skill when he stopped Orhan Ortanca:s penalty. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orhan Ortanca went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Zbora got free with Dante Lacasa in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Zbora went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Hunor Csapó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hunor Csapó quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Zbora got free with Dante Lacasa in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 44 played minutes Buffalo Timişoara got a freekick which was hit by Brent-Jan Koninckx. Hunor Csapó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franky Ooms stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Joel Gaona got a free kick in the 56th minute. Adrian Zbora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Hunor Csapó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. Buffalo Timişoara made a substitution. Călin Borogeanu replaced Dorin Oravițan. Buffalo Timişoara's Vali Voicescu was substituted for Orhan Ortanca. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 69th minute. Hunor Csapó made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 70th minute. Hunor Csapó was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luca Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 72 minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Voicu in the 77th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Voicu came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Zbora in the 82nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Valentin Voicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, Augusto Benitez notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, Buffalo Timişoara could leave the field as winners, despite Mexico having more of the ball for most of the match.
