Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gustaw Kasprzak hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Eugeniusz Czapski kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 16th minute of play forced Brokopondo's goalkeeper Mauro Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 17th minute. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Leonardo Leoz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mauro Esteves quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 20th minute of play forced Brokopondo's goalkeeper Mauro Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Esteves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 25th minute. Mauro Esteves came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnaba Blochowiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wieslaw Kalak got free with Dante Lacasa in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andrzej Klawki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. 41 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Barnaba Blochowiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Brokopondo's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Mauro Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mexico booed when Brokopondo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Kalak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Brokopondo made a substitution. Che Guevara replaced Kazimierz Falkowski. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barnaba Blochowiak to strike the kick off in the second half. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Che Guevara in the 53rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Mauro Esteves threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 55th minute Andrzej Klawki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brokopondo made a substitution. 정 남 replaced Stefan Bejrut. Mauro Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaba Blochowiak in the 63rd minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mauro Esteves could save by the left post. Mauro Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnaba Blochowiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Wieslaw Kalak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Brokopondo's Lech Felenak got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Bialakowski kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mauro Esteves. Lautaro Mancebo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Barnaba Blochowiak scored 1-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barnaba Blochowiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. The Brokopondo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
