Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Esteves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barnaba Blochowiak's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 10th minute of the match Brokopondo got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kazimierz Falkowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 14th minute, Stefan Bejrut reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-0. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute of the match, Barnaba Blochowiak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Brokopondo's Mauro Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. Brokopondo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kazimierz Falkowski in the 23rd minute. After taking down the ball on Brokopondo's corner Kazimierz Falkowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play forced Brokopondo's goalkeeper Mauro Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Mauro Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Stefan Bejrut fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Julio Vera, passed just outside the right post. Tobiasz Derlanga hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Eugeniusz Czapski hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Stefan Bejrut made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnaba Blochowiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barnaba Blochowiak struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brokopondo. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Blochowiak in the 59th minute of play. Barnaba Blochowiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mauro Esteves could save by the left post. With his leg Mauro Esteves managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Ecuador's Felix Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mauro Esteves made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 정 남's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Brokopondo's Zbyszko Rakowski got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Barnaba Blochowiak fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brokopondo's protests and gave Barnaba Blochowiak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th match minute, Brokopondo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnaba Blochowiak to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Gisbert's late challenge caught a Brokopondo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Mauro Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zbyszko Rakowski hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Juan Sebastián Puig heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the referee blew the final whistle, Brokopondo could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
