With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Silva saved Agro Imortal from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Rui Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Axel Tasis sped through Agro Imortal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roger Silva. 37 minutes into the game, Aaron Alcocer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Roger Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Pedro Montenegro in the 43rd minute of play. Roger Silva came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Axel Tasis. But to his dismay, Axel Tasis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. Agro Imortal's Nestor Silva suffered a sore thigh after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Efrain Moruga's late challenge caught a Agro Imortal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Agro Imortal's Hernani Batista got a free kick in the 57th minute. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amauri Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Lautaro Puig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Roger Silva made a huge save. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Agro Imortal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roger Silva, 0-5. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Roger Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 84th minute. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Agro Imortal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roger Silva. That made the score 0-6 after 95 minutes of play.
