Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Abdallah. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Zorros del Desierto's Alex Dijoux. But to his dismay, Alex Dijoux quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Alex Dijoux received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Alex Dijoux slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 11th minute. After 14 minutes of play, Zorros del Desierto's Alex Dijoux made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Dijoux went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pape Lillo. After 33 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastián Roco who took care of the corner kick. Alex Dijoux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas pulled a muscle in his back after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Sebastián Roco's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastián Roco helped the player get up and apologised. Venezuela made a substitution. Guillermo Espina replaced Jonathan Venegas. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Sebastián Roco got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 57th minute, Alex Dijoux ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Zenaido Oviedo replaced Pape Lillo. Alex Dijoux might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex Dijoux ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Dijoux in the 60th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clark Kent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Clark Kent quite easily take care of the ball. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Allan Silm replaced Alex Dijoux. The throw-in from Salvador Gisbert in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Zorros del Desierto's Darío Verón. After 72 minutes, Allan Silm made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Silm came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Allan Silm came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Zorros del Desierto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Silm couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Silm in the 81st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Silm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zorros del Desierto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastián Roco in the 88th minute. The corner ended in Sebastián Roco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Allan Silm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play, Zorros del Desierto's Allan Silm made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there!
